Chamber Business College – Effective Selling Strategies

The Chamber Business College is partnering with SCORE to present a workshop “Effective Selling Strategies” on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

• What skills do you need to help you to convert interested prospects into real buyers of your product or service?

• Learn how to convince an individual prospect that they should commit to doing business with you.

• Analyze your personal behavior, presentation, content and follow-up to help you avoid traps and turn-offs that will kill the chance of making a sale.

• Learn tips for setting up appointments, conducting interviews and closing the sale, so that your time will be effectively used and sales will be maximized.

• Overcome the fear many small business owners have that they are not good sales people and get the order!

SCORE seminars and workshops are led by volunteer business people - experienced business executives, owners, managers and entrepreneurs who understand from practical, street-level experience the needs of today’s entrepreneurs.

All attendees have the option to continue with FREE “one-on-one” confidential follow-up with a SCORE counselor to help them develop a marketing plan and answer strategic questions specific to their business.

Kristin Ferguson, Steve Ferguson and Mike FitzPatrick of the NW Arkansas SCORE Chapter will be the presenters. All workshops will be held at Clement Financial, 2400 SE C St. in Bentonville from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The workshops are $30 for Chamber members and $35 for non-Chamber members. All fees will be donated to the NWA SCORE Chapter and are not given to the presenters as payment.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. More than 10,500 volunteers provide individual counseling and business workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners. SCORE has assisted more than 7.2 million Americans with small business counseling. Visit SCORE on the Web at www.score.org.
